Pipes + Drams 2018
The Scottish Society of New Zealand Pipe Band is proud to announce its premiere fundraising event for 2018.
The Scottish Society of New Zealand Pipe Band is the South Islands Premier Grade Three Pipe Band. Our sights for 2018 are set high with our goal to compete at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, and bring the title of Grade Three World Champions home to New Zealand.
To achieve this, we have a massive fundraising drive and would be delighted if you could be a part of this.
On 26 May, 2018 we are holding our annual exclusive event, Pipes & Drams, at the distinctive and unique setting of the “Cardboard” Cathedral.
An evening of whisky tasting presented by Whisky Galore, concert entertainment from the Scottish Society of NZ Pipe Band including special guests, continuous canapes throughout the evening, special fundraising auctions and fantastic fun!
If you were lucky enough to attend our Pipes and Drams event held in 2017 you will know it was a huge success raising over $24,000 for the band.
Tables and tickets will sell out well in advance so please let us know how many tables, or individual tickets, you would like to secure. Tickets can be purchased at pipeband.scottishsocietyofnz.com
Tickets will go on sale here from the 8th March
This is the not to be missed calendar event of 2018, that will be talked about for years to come.

Pipes & Drams will run from 7pm until around 11:30, and will involve 4-5 whisky tastings
